From June 6-10 at 10:30am and 1pm, the Saskatchewan Science Centre will be hosting ocean activities on the second floor in the AgroBistro area (near the new grain elevator indoor playground) to celebrate Ocean Week! Activities include the Riverbot Garbage Gulper, which uses ozobots to simulate cleaning up garbage from water streams, and Focus on the Ocean, which involves hand-held microscopes to examine microplastics and the smallest ocean organisms they directly affect. Join us to interactively learn and discover how our actions in the freshwater prairies can impact marine resources!
