On June 10 and 11, head over to the Main West Atrium at (near the escalators and library) to explore Canadian Geographic’s newest ocean-themed giant floor map during Ocean Week Canada (OWC) 2022. The 8-m by 11-m Ocean, Freshwater and Us map pop-up installatio is made to walk on – putting a network of watersheds, coastal areas, and marine protected areas right beneath your feet. This event is hosted by OWC in partnership with Great West Life Reality Advisors (GWLRA) and North York Central Library (NYCL). Join us and the North York city centre community for two days of interactive learning and discovery focused on increasing awareness about our connection to the marine and freshwater resources in Canada!
