Project SculptShore’s baby whale sculpture begins its migration across the Maritimes, starting off with a shoreline cleanup for Oceans Week! On June 8th, it is departing from its home at the BernArt Maze to journey to Scots Bay, where it will join a shoreline cleanup with Scotian Shores and The Long Table Social Club. Join us there to celebrate World Oceans Day by cleaning up the shoreline and filling up this six-metre-long lifesize whale sculpture with trash! Learn about Project SculptShore and what we are doing this summer to raise awareness for the North Atlantic Right Whale and the amazing solutions at work right here in Nova Scotia!
We will meet at the Long Table Social Club, and don’t forget to bring good shoes, a water bottle, and a rain jacket in case of rain.
