Stories in Public Spaces is a national sticker design contest for youth ages 16 to 30 across Canada, co-created by ECHOFORM x Canada Confesses.
Participants complete one of three prompts about their lived experience and turn it into an original sticker design. One of the prompts, “the future I want to leave behind,” connects directly to Ocean Week Canada’s themes of legacy and what we choose to pass on to future generations.
The contest launches June 12, 2026, during Ocean Week Canada, and runs until August 31, 2026. It’s free to enter and open to youth across the country. Winning and finalist designs will be printed and displayed at ECHOFORM’s Artivism Cohort Showcase in Edmonton this October, included in a permanent digital gallery, and featured in both organizations’ impact reporting.
Full contest details, prompts, prizes, design requirements, and the submission form are available on the Canada Confesses blog.
