The ocean gives us life. It feeds us, cools our planet, and carries stories along every shoreline, stream, and lake. In honour of World Ocean Day on June 8th Ocean Wise and Ocean Week Canada are celebrating all month long!
From June 1–30, 2026, join ‘Plogging for the Ocean’ by picking up litter while you run, walk, or explore outdoors. Submit your Ocean Wise data card after your cleanup, including the distance travelled and litter collected, and you will be entered for a chance to win a Garmin Forerunner 570 or one of three $200 gift cards to Native Shoes. Each data card submitted counts as one entry, up to a maximum of five entries per person.
