Help us celebrate Ocean Week Canada with a beach clean-up at Casablanca Beach.

Garbage and recycling bags as well as gloves will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own supplies for the clean-up. The event is on rain or shine. We will postpone if conditions become unsafe or if there are thunderstorms.

Ocean Week Canada is an annual national celebration of ocean events, learning, and engagement held during the week of World Ocean Day (June 8). As Ocean Week Canada’s official freshwater partner, Water Rangers are hosting a variety of events across Canada to help celebrate! You can view our other events here.

To highlight the importance of keeping our freshwater clean for Ocean Week Canada, we’re inviting our Lake Erie Rangers volunteers to help clean up Casablanca Beach. We will also provide a brief overview of our E. coli testkits and be looking for feedback on how the testkits have been working in the field so far.
