Get ready for an exciting contest hosted by the NL World Oceans Day Committee! Celebrate creativity and ocean love by entering for a chance to win a prize at each grade level and a school prize! All entries will be displayed at the World Oceans Day flagship event in St. John’s on June 6 and on winners announced on Facebook @WODNL on June 8.
Celebrate World Oceans Day 2026 by showing us what the ocean means to you!
Students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 across Newfoundland and Labrador are invited to submit their original artwork inspired by this year’s theme: “Celebrate the Oceans!”
Why enter?
– One winner per grade level
– Winners announced on June 8, 2026
– Your artwork could be featured and celebrated across the province!
How to participate:
– Create an original piece of art (8.5″ x 11″)
– Save it digitally
– Submit it by May 7, 2026
