False Creek Friends Society presents the 2026 False Creek Festival: A Watershed Moment!

Join us in celebration of World Oceans Week, and learn about ocean health, water stewardship, citizen science, and build your connection with Vancouver’s most visible waterbody: False Creek. Expect water testing demonstrations, lots of information & kid-friendly activities, face painting, and explore the Ocean, Freshwater, and Us giant floor map.

Not only will you meet the Friends of False Creek, but some of the most active and dedicated marine stewardship organizations in Vancouver: Raincoast Conservation Foundation, Georgia Strait Alliance, Water Rangers, and more!

Find us on Sunday June 7th in Leg in Boot Square from 12PM-5PM, plus an evening video installation by artist Julie Kim running on loop from 7PM-10PM.
