This event is part of the 3rd edition of Verdun-sur-Fleuve Festival by Demain Verdun.

Join Verdun resident and amateur ornithologist Jean-Marc Lacoste for a birdwatching walk to discover the local birdlife of Verdun. The activity will begin with a short home-made film presentation and continue along the shoreline for an outdoor observation session.

FESTIVAL VISION | Verdun-sur-Fleuve is an opportunity to come together and celebrate the great river that borders our neighbourhood and our island city. More than just a neighbour, the river shapes our landscape and acts as a connector for the community of Verdun, the Greater South-West of Montréal, and all of Québec—flowing out toward the ocean.

The river becomes a way to reflect on our identity, our future, how we live together, the species we share the city with, how we interact with the river, and our human responsibility to care for the environment.
