Norris Point, Newfoundland and Labrador
Celebrate the Sea Day is a full-day, family-friendly celebration of the ocean, hosted by Trails, Tales, and Tunes as part of their annual festival in Norris Point!
This waterfront event brings together all ages to celebrate their connection to the ocean through hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, tasty food, live music, and ocean-themed fun. From paddling Bonne Bay in a big canoe and exploring underwater creatures with AHOI, to crafts, face painting, and a kids’ bouncy castle – there’s something for everyone.
Enjoy free admission to the Bonne Bay Aquarium and Research Station (BBARS), grab lunch at the Kayak Café or the community fundraiser BBQ, and catch live performances in the afternoon. Whether you’re discovering ocean critters, joining a fun run, or simply soaking in the beauty of Bonne Bay, Celebrate the Sea Day is your chance to dive into the marine habitat in Gros Morne!
