Snorkel Gear Donation for Community Eelgrass Restoration Initiative (CERI)

Ocean Week Halifax

May 7th 12:00 AM - June 8th 2:00 PM
Halifax, Nova Scotia
The Community Eelgrass Restoration Initiative (CERI) is working on sharing the magic of the underwater world with as many people as possible with our free Learn to Snorkel events!
We are working with Mi’kmaq and non-Indigenous communities to provide snorkeling experiences to explore our local eelgrass meadows!
We want to offer our programs to as many people as we can, specifically those who may not have access to snorkeling opportunities! Please consider donating your old masks, snorkels, wetsuits, gloves, or booties so others can discover the joys of snorkeling.
For more information, check us out at eelgrass.ca or send us an email at info@eelgrass.ca!
Donations can be dropped off at Torpedo Rays Scuba Adventures until June 7th! Every submission gives you one chance to win a $100 gift certificate to Torpedo Rays Scuba Adventures! The winner will be announced at the Ocean Week Halifax Ocean Day Celebration at the Queens Marque Courtyard on Saturday, June 8th!
