Join us for an Ocean Week Canada 2024 event hosted by Legal Advocates for Nature’s Defence (LAND) to:

  • learn about legal tools which exist to protect the lands and waters of the Arctic watershed in Ontario
  • hear stories of hope and resilience from the Friends of the Attawapiskat River, whose Indigenous knowledge and leadership play a critical role in marine protection and conservation

Legal Advocates for Nature’s Defence (LAND) is an environmental law non-profit based in Northern Ontario dedicated to protecting nature and upholding Treaty rights through legal advocacy and support
