Blue Noise interactive immersive sonic art

June 1st 12:00 PM - June 2nd 4:00 PM
London, Ontario

Dive into the immersive world of “Blue Noise” an audiovisual installation funded by Ocean Week Canada. Created by the BluHeron Collective consisting of artists Christopher McLeod and Alex MacLean, this interactive experience explores the devastating impact of ocean noise pollution on marine life. Through projected visuals accompanied by generative soundscape, participants witness the harmony of healthy marine ecosystems juxtaposed with the disruptive noise generated by human activities. As viewers maneuver their hands in front of a sensor, their actions trigger and modify the simulated pollution, offering a visceral connection to the consequences of our actions.

Aligned with the Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition’s mission, the installation serves as a participatory tool, bridging the gap between knowledge and action. Join us for the installation on the weekend of June 1st and 2nd from 12pm-4pm both days, at 100 Kellogg Lane in London, ON as we amplify the urgent call for ocean conservation through the powerful fusion of art and science.
