- 6:50 p.m. – Closing Remarks
This event aims to connect ocean supporters from around the globe to build a community of champions and to support and uplift each other’s work.
There will be an open mic portion where we invite any attendees to come up to the stage. Participation is completely optional but we encourage you to step out of your comfort zone! We recognize that everyone will be coming from different backgrounds and expertise. Open mic ideas must be related to the ocean and can include:
- Slam Poem
- Sharing a 20 word story
- Showcasing a piece of artwork
- A 3 minute talk about the work that you do
- Your hopes for the future of our oceans
- Leading a fun activity or game
We are intentionally keeping the open mic portion vague as we believe that everyone has something valuable and fun to offer. Please limit your open mic activity to 5 minutes. You can sign up for open mic as you sign in to register!
Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided!
