The Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition (COLC) with be bringing the Ocean, Freshwater and Us giant floor map with augmented reality to this years Annual Meeting of the Geological Association of Canada, Mineralogical Association of Canada, and Society for Geology Applied to Mineral Deposits as an interactive exhibit installation (May 24 -27). During symposia, COLC will deliver a talk at the special session SS15 – Geoscience Education and Communication  on how we might strengthen ocean connections using the giant floor map with AR extension  (May 25). After the formal  proceedings, a member of COLC’s education team will contribute to W01 – Curriculum Connections, Educator Professional Learning (K-12), a workshop program for teachers (May 28).
