Visit a life size Sperm Whale!
La Baleine Nomade innovates every day to immerse young people in an ocean experience and develop their connection with our river and our oceans. Our mission is to engage young people in the environment by making science accessible and connecting them with the marine environment. Highlight whales and the environment with a spectacular tool, a first in Canada, a life-size and nomadic whale replica, from one school to another!
In collaboration with the Lévisium Festival de Sciences , our company will offer the visit of a sperm whale in 6 classes in Quebec. Indeed, classes from 3 different schools will be able to receive a life-size replica of a sperm whale directly in their school. This inflatable whale illustrated by a biologist artist will be accompanied by a 50-minute animation where young people will experience a sound and light show with our sperm whale. We will give priority to classes in disadvantaged areas or who do not have access to this type of service given their reduced budgets to hold the activity, depending on the registrations received. The activity will take place in the gymnasium of the selected schools.
