EVENTS

Ocean Week Canada is an annual national celebration of ocean events, learning, and engagement held during the week of World Ocean Day (June 8). Ocean Week Canada is nationally coordinated by the Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition (COLC) project office. COLC works with dozens of existing and new content and event partners each year to coordinate a national program. Ocean Week Canada 2022 marked the first national-scale program. Together, we aim to grow Ocean Week Canada each year throughout the UN Ocean Decade (2021-2030) so that by 2030, Ocean Week is a widely recognized and celebrated national festival engaging millions of Canadians every June.
